CROSSING INVISIBLE BRIDGES

A guide to a real spiritual journey

The intention of this book is to guide sincere spiritual seekers by offering insight into what to expect on the journey inward. It serves as a companion for navigating the often uncharted path of spiritual growth, answering many of the difficult questions that are usually left open to assumption.

Through personal experience, reflection, and lessons gathered from spiritual masters encountered along the way, this book explores the realities of inner transformation, self-inquiry, and expanded awareness.

It also examines how to recognize the traps that delay growth versus the opportunities for transformation presented by Universe, while helping readers understand and work through the subconscious patterns, inner experiences, and challenges that naturally arise on the path toward higher states of consciousness and self-realization by working through emotional and psychological resistance, navigating periods of uncertainty, and ultimately reflecting on what it truly means to reach the goal, if such a final goal exists at all.

Synopsis

Crossing Invisible Bridges is a deeply personal and thought-provoking exploration of spiritual awakening, inner transformation, and the unseen forces shaping human consciousness. Blending autobiographical experiences with yogic philosophy, metaphysical insights, and practical spiritual guidance, the book invites readers to question the nature of identity, suffering, purpose, and reality itself.

Through stories of mystical experiences, encounters with spiritual masters, intense meditation practices, and profound inner shifts, the author charts a path from unconscious living toward self-realization. Drawing from traditions such as Kriya Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Kashmiri Shaivism, and Sanatana Dharma, the book explains how consciousness evolves through disciplined practice, surrender, and awareness.

At its heart, the book argues that humanity’s endless pursuit of wealth, relationships, status, and external fulfillment stems from forgetting its true nature. The spiritual journey, according to the author, is not an escape from life but a process of awakening to the indwelling Self—the unchanging awareness behind all experiences.

The work examines topics such as karma, kundalini, gurus, chakras, intuition, consciousness, dark nights of the soul, spiritual evolution, and the relationship between science and mysticism. It also challenges many common misconceptions surrounding spirituality, enlightenment, manifestation, and meditation, presenting them through the lens of lived experience rather than abstract theory.

Written in an intimate yet authoritative voice, Crossing Invisible Bridges seeks to serve both seekers beginning their spiritual exploration and experienced practitioners looking for deeper understanding. More than a philosophical text, it is an invitation to consciously participate in one’s own evolution and to discover the deeper intelligence guiding human life beyond the visible world.

Author's Note

There comes a point in life when the outer achievements of the world no longer silence the deeper questions within us. No amount of success, relationships, possessions, knowledge, or recognition can fully remove the quiet sense that something essential still remains undiscovered. This book was born from that very inquiry.

Crossing Invisible Bridges is not written as a religious doctrine, nor as an attempt to convince anyone of a particular belief system. It is the expression of a personal spiritual journey—one filled with questioning, struggle, mystical experiences, surrender, discipline, transformation, and grace. Many of the insights shared in these pages arose not merely from intellectual study, but through direct experience, years of meditation, guidance from spiritual masters, and observing the subtle ways consciousness evolves within everyday life.

I do not claim to possess absolute truth. Spirituality, by its nature, must ultimately become experiential for every individual. A person may read thousands of books about peace, enlightenment, or God, yet true understanding only dawns when these realities begin to awaken within one’s own consciousness. My intention is therefore not to provide conclusions, but to offer perspectives, reflections, and guidance that may help sincere seekers navigate their own path with greater clarity and trust.

Some ideas in this book may challenge conventional thinking. Others may resonate deeply as something you have always intuitively known but never found words for. I encourage you not to accept or reject anything blindly. Instead, reflect deeply, remain open, and allow your own inner experience to become the final authority.

This book is especially written for those who feel called toward inner growth yet find themselves uncertain about the path ahead—for those who sense that life must hold a deeper meaning beyond routine existence and external accomplishments. If even one chapter helps you look inward with greater sincerity, strengthens your dedication to spiritual growth, or reminds you of the deeper intelligence guiding your life, then this work has fulfilled its purpose.

The spiritual path is not about becoming someone else. It is about remembering what you have always been beneath the layers of conditioning, fear, thought, identity, and attachment. The bridges we cross are invisible because they exist within consciousness itself.

May these pages serve as companionship on your journey inward.

With gratitude and reverence,

Shiva Tejo
